There are any number of critters one might encounter wandering through the Costa Rican rainforest in the middle of the night, and Coyote Peterson lucked out when the ocelot that crossed his trail happened to be a playful little guy.
These animals are also known as dwarf leopards, but that doesn’t mean they still can’t pack a mean bite and scratch, which Peterson discovered when play time turned a little rough.
For the record, we don’t recommend you approach wild cats for play time or put your hand near really big spiders.
