Robots help sort parcels for quicker delivery
Chinese delivery firm Shentong moves to embrace automation.
Robots at the company's sorting stations identify each package's destination through a code-scan, virtually eliminating sorting mistakes, can sort up to 200,000 packages a day, and self-charge, meaning they can run 24/7. The company estimates these robots save around 70% of the costs a human-based sorting line requires.
