If you're a tech worker look for a change of scenery (or a free trip), LookSee Wellington wants to fly you to New Zealand — all expenses paid.
For four days, the organization – a partnership between the Wellington Regional Economic Development Agency and Workhere New Zealand – is bringing 100 people to New Zealand for pre-arranged interviews, mixers, and tours of the city.
All you have to do is create a profile on the site, answer some questions, and throw your resume in the hat. Tech firms will then be able to "nominate" you for a spot on the trip; the more nominations you receive, the more likely you'll win an invitation.
According to LookSee, Wellington's "tech industry is flying along and we need more people." It also claims that there are "literally hundreds of tech jobs available right now in Wellington."
When the trip is over, LookSee says the best candidates will be offered jobs, so you could end up with a vacation and a new life abroad.
