Protest song emerges from the Women’s March: “I Can’t Keep Quiet”

Saying nothing appears to be the safe route when one sees injustice in the world. It doesn’t leave you open to attack, no matter how much pain there is inside or happening right in front of your face. So, is that really safety? MILCK, who composed this song for the Women’s March and gathered women from the internet together to perform it at the march doesn’t think so, and neither did the millions who took to the streets around the world. Commercial director Alma Ha’rel was lucky enough to be on the scene when their performance took place and wrote about her experience in the description of the video she posted on YouTube, where you can also find the full lyrics.
