When you’re doing experiments in the backyard, there isn’t enough room to slice a full-sized car in half using rocketry. That was the dream of the Backyard Scientist, gleaned from MythBusters, but doing it in miniature with a homemade sugar rocket is still pretty, darned cool (though not something you want to try with the dog around).
