Cowboy called in by police to lasso stray on highway

It isn’t uncommon to see a truckload of cattle crossing the country, so police forces may want to take a lesson from this incident in Tennessee and have a cowboy on speed dial. According to the report from KF99/KQ105: [Henry County Sheriff Monte] Belew said the sheriff’s office received a call earlier today that a 500 pound calf was running loose on Highway 79N. “We had to shut down the highway and decided to only way to get it was to rope it,” Belew said. To that end, David Bevill of Paris rode on the top of Belew’s car and did just that. Belew was videotaping it while it happened and captured some unique footage.
