We Dropped The iPhone 7 In The Ocean. This Is What Happened

The world is currently going mental over the brand new iPhone 7 from Apple. This time around the 7th iteration of the smart phone comes complete with a larger, single-lens 12MP rear sensor camera, a new jet black finish and zero headphone jack. But its also the first iPhone to be water resistant - just how waterproof is it? We thought we'd go out on a special mission to see if the ‘revolutionary’ new phone lives up to its promise.... We sent Australian presenter Samantha Clarke into the South Pacific ocean at Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach to see if the new iPhone 7 can withstand its crashing blue waves and extreme rip currents. Not only is Bondi beach prone to the odd shark, there's some serious surf to be had too. If Sam and the iPhone 7 could make it back to shore alive then we'd all be impressed. After gearing Samantha up with a selfie stick to dunk the phone and a GoPro on her head and surfboard - we literally had every angle covered. Unlike other water test videos you might have seen, we're putting it 1M under the ocean! This is the story of what happened next.... Will it survive? Or simply be destroyed in the blue depths below, ending up as an expensive snack for JAWS?
