Methane bubbles turn Siberian ground into huge waterbed [video]

See it jiggle, watch it wiggle generally isn’t a good thing when it comes to the Earth itself, yet that’s what appears to be happening in Siberia. The theory is methane bubbles are being released from the melting permafrost below, causing the land to become similar to a giant waterbed when walked upon. So, we assume this isn’t the best place to build a campfire.
