Icelandic drillers dig into a magma chamber [video]

The drillers featured in this video dug two kilometers underground into a magma chamber. They circulated steam at a stunning 400º C, making a magma-powered geothermal energy station. This video shows the equipment failing. Warning: turn your volume down.
