One of Turkey’s oldest arts is still alive and well, thanks to artists like Garip Ay, who draws audiences in to see him create with as much skill as he draws paint across water.
Ebro was originally used for official documents as a way of preventing fraud, and Ay constantly incorporates new materials into his work to produce even more stunning effects one painting at a time.
