How important is the queen of a hive? Important enough to have the entire swarm follow the car in which she’s trapped.
Carol Hayworth ran in to do some shopping and returned to find 20,000 bees parked on her Mitsubishi. The beekeepers were called in, and the problem appeared to be resolved until they tracked her down again.
“The next day I realized that some of the bees had followed me home,” she said. So she summoned the beekeepers, who arrived ready for rescue.
Though no one is sure how the queen made her way inside, we’re sure she appreciated the support in her time of need.
