Nothing kills the peace of a stroll by the pond like carnage, yet that’s just what the people of Hamburg, Germany found when their local toad population began exploding.
Mating season turned grisly when the toads, en masse, started blowing apart, leaving legs, heads, and innards all over the park.
Was it pollution from the local stables? Something nefarious dumped in the pond? Or was the cause all natural?
