Though their appearance is somewhat nefarious, the purpose behind this creation of Eelume, Kongsberg Maritime and Statoil is to perform underwater repairs on things like offshore wind farms and oil rigs.
Their oddly realistic movements, though, are enough to shock anyone into thinking Captain Nemo’s descendants launched a fleet of creepy, spying creatures that are undoubtedly up to no good.
By land or by sea, you’re never safe from the robots.
