I am quite sure that we get the very last festive muffle with this enchanting DIY yourself! In Canada, the winters are indeed really bitter cold, Photographer Chris Retzlaff has be infected by the temporary chilliness his native Alberta and ventured a little experiment. For a bit of practice and preparation was first necessary: In the local cuisine he mixed 200 ml of warm water, 35 ml Corn Syrup (this country glucose fruit syrup), 35 ml Spüli and two teaspoons of sugar.
This sweet bubble mixture then went into the freezer before it is made on a sunny winter in the garden to work. Namely, when blowing at around -25 degrees Celsius soap bubbles, they freeze more quickly than that they burst. The syrup ensures a thicker wall, the sugar supports the crystallisation.
