The Cleveland Cavaliers went to Charlotte in search of a much-needed win over the Hornets to keep pace as the No. 3 team in the Eastern Conference and top squad in the Central Division, especially after suffering a 98-79 loss to the Miami Heat Tuesday.
And the Cavaliers (45-30) came out with a point to prove, as they fought their way to a 118-105 victory over the Hornets (34-42) at Spectrum Center and closed out the brief three-game road trip with bookend wins, first in Brooklyn, and then, in Charlotte.
